Quality Analyst (Manual & Automation)

Job Details

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Analyst (QA Engineer) to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of both Manual Testing and Automation Testing processes and be eager to work in a fast-paced Agile development environment.

Freshers with strong technical understanding and experienced candidates with hands-on QA expertise are both encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports.
• Identify, document, track, and report software defects.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Managers to understand requirements.
• Participate in requirement analysis and sprint planning activities.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, usability, and smoke testing.
• Validate APIs and backend responses using testing tools.
• Assist in automation testing and maintain automation scripts where applicable.
• Ensure applications meet quality standards before production release.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support activities.
• Maintain proper testing documentation and reports.

Job Requirements

• Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
• Understanding of defect tracking and reporting processes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

Skill & Experience

• Freshers or candidates with 1+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance can apply.
• Knowledge of Manual Testing and basic Automation Testing concepts.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, TestRail, Postman, or Bugzilla.
• Understanding of web and mobile application testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing is a plus.
• Exposure to API testing and browser debugging tools is preferred.
