We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior WordPress Developer with experience in utilizing the WooCommerce plugin. This is a full-time position based in Pune, India. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of WordPress development principles and possess the ability to build and customize websites using WordPress and WooCommerce. Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing concepts is considered a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites and e-commerce solutions using the WooCommerce plugin.
• Collaborate with the design and development teams to implement website features and functionality.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and responsiveness.
• Ensure website security and implement best practices for data protection.
• Conduct thorough testing of websites and resolve any issues or bugs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and WordPress updates.
• Assist in the deployment and migration of websites to hosting servers.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for WordPress-related issues.
• Collaborate with SEO and digital marketing teams to implement SEO best practices and integrate marketing tools into websites.

Skill and Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience (1-2 years) in WordPress development and WooCommerce implementation.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Proficient in working with WordPress themes and plugins, including customization and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of responsive web design and mobile optimization.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
• Experience with digital marketing concepts and tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and SEO analysis platforms (e.g., SEMrush) is a plus.
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards.
• Experience with website optimization techniques for improved performance and SEO.
